Quintana Roo is the first ever specialist triathlon company, meaning that they are obviously valuable affiliates of ours. They invented the first ever triathlon bike by altering the geometrics of the original design to suit a triathlete’s needs. Quintana Roo founder, Dan Empfield, is still closely involved and deduces that the perfect fit can be accomplished with an “off the shelf” bike.
Quintana Roo also produces a range of top quality wetsuits, where the primary goal is, as is vital in a triathlon, to be the quickest in the water and in transition. Their designers have used neoprene and all the latest manufacturing techniques around to ensure the wetsuits provide support in the most demanding of situations. On top of all of this, they have also developed the first breakaway zipper, making transition extremely quick.
