What with all the excitement generated last year with Mark Cavendish and Bradley Wiggins, and more recently Team Sky, interest in cycling is at an all time high. Even in these economic gloomy times cycling is enjoying an almost seismic shift in the way it is being perceived. Breaking away from the quirky fringe activity to a mainstream sport that can be promoted to the entire population as a part clean and healthy lifestyle.

As many of you will have seen, we had to cancel the first race in our 5k series due to the weather reports. It was meant to snow and be very icy...not conducive to fast sprinting or safety!
