Victoria Graves 3rd Junior at National Duathlon Championships and Selected for European Triathlon and Duathlon Championships.2012 Olympic triathlon prospect Victoria Graves opened her triathlon and duathlon 2008 race season with 3rd place in the junior event at this past weekend’s National Duathlon Championships. Though not completely happy with this result Graves’s perked up when she received a call from the British Triathlon Federation to inform her she had been selected for the both the European Triathlon Championships and the European Duathlon Championships. On her race Graves comments “I wrapped up warm and had a good first run and transition. On to the bike the first 3 laps were good but the wind was incredibly strong and coupled with the rain made conditions hard very hard and I dropped back. However, I then had a good 2nd run to get the fastest time and nearly catch 2nd up. Victoria is supported in 2008 by retailer Nice2tri.com, Asics shoes and Sailfish Wetsuits with a new title sponsor to be announced in the coming weeks.
